Two important leaders from France and Finland, were sent by the European Union for a mission to Managua, to learn about business climate, citizen security, social peace, government-private sector relations, and explore opportunities for investments.

With this vision, this delegation held an important meeting with the National Commission for Exports, headed by the Investment Promoter in PRONicaragua, Laureano Ortega, as well as members of other Associations of the private sector.

They also considered that Nicaragua can support the Nordic country, contributing in the production of those goods that the geographical conditions of Finland cannot achieve internally. Laureano Ortega, considered the possibility for the near future to organize a public-private mission to explore investment possibilities in Finland, a country that consumes lots of coffee, being the first consumer per capita for this drink in the world, which can bring great commercial benefits for both countries.
